The benefits of using Soy Wax and Para-soy Wax.
Soy wax is a natural, renewable, bio-degradable resource, coming from soy beans. As opposed to paraffin which is derived as a by-product of petroleum. Soy wax cleans up with soap and water. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and will burn slower and longer than just paraffin wax. This provides for a better scent throw.
Scent Throw
“Cold Throw” VS “Hot Throw”. Cold Throw is the scent of a candle before it’s lit. The smell it has in the store. Some mass candle makers rely on a strong cold throw in order to get you to buy it, only to be disappointed when you actually burn or melt it.
Hot Throw is how the candle casts its scent while burning or in your candle warmer. Buying a candle simply because it smells good in the store VS how it smells good when lit, is the difference, after all that’s why you buy a candle or wax melt, to burn or melt it, right?
How to get the most from your candle or wax melt.
When you burn your candle or use your wax melt, you will get better results by following these instructions:
Burn your candle or use your Candle warmer for four (4) hours. This allows for a melt pool which is how the scent is spread throughout the room, a melt pool that reaches all sides of your container or wax warmer, is what you are looking for.
DO NOT leave burning candle unattended, keep away from children and pets.
After your candle cools, trim the remaining wick to 1/4 of an inch. (being careful to make sure the candle has cooled completely before trimming wick.)
Keep used matches and other debris from your candle.
Remove trimmed wick from your cooled candle. Stop using candle when wax is down to 1/4 inch from the bottom of container.
